ABOUT
The Slugging Eagles Booster Club is a group of interested persons who support activities that enhance the softball curriculum. This "family" of individuals may have or have had daughters, nieces, granddaughters, neighbors, employees, or acquaintances in our community that play softball. By our attendance at athletic events, financial participation, and volunteerism, the Booster Club hopes to promote values of community involvement and leadership that will influence our athletes for a lifetime. The Booster Club sponsors the start-of-season picnic, end-of-year banquet, Varsity and JV tournaments, softball memory program, and supports the teams through various spirit activities. The Club also supports the AHS softball players' efforts toward continuing academic excellence through the Senior scholarship program.
Senior Scholarships
Senior athletes are eligible based on their years in the AHS softball program and parent participation in the booster club. Fund-raising activities include concession stand operation and ushering at other athletic events, as well as the annual Whiffleball, JV, and Varsity softball tournaments.
Season Kick-Off Picnic
Parents coordinate an annual cookout for players, families, and coaches in January/February. This is a great time for everyone to meet the Eagle Softball family.
Kickball Tournament
Fundraising event held by the Slugging Eagles Booster Club annually. Held that the AHS Softball/Baseball Fields.
Varsity & JR Varsity Tournaments
Major fundraising event for the Allen Softball Booster club. Parents and players volunteer time working gates and at the concession.
Senior Night
The graduating seniors are annually recognized at the final home game of the season. The seniors and their parents are introduced and thanked for their participation in the AHS softball program.
ASA Nights
A partnership with Allen Sports Association to help bring recognition to the Allen Eagle Softball program while inspiring the youth of our community to grow their love for the game.
End of Year Banquet
Softball banquet recognizing the players' accomplishments.
